Spaceway Brewing Co.

These are beer can labels designed for Spaceway Brewing Co, a company in Rocky Mount. NC, that values minority representation and appreciates fine arts.

Each label has a unique water color background, paired with character silhouettes that are inspired by the songs that each beer flavor was named after. The inclusion of traditional mediums as well as bright colors next to black will pop and standout on store shelves.

San serif typefaces were chosen for this project. Franklin Gothic, created by Morris Fuller Benton, is used for the display type because it's high x-height and condensed forms have a modern feel. Helvetica was chosen as the secondary type because it's even line weights make it easier to read in smaller sizes.
